A Taste of Brazil on Bonaire!

Since the beginning of August we are selling the famous Brazilian cocktails that go by the name of CAIPI ONE! These refreshing, fresh fruit cocktails are quickly prepared and delicious.



CAIPI ONE uses only fresh fruits like berries, lime and passion fruit from Brazilian plantations. Within 24 hours after picking the fruit it is processed into the cocktails with liquor and sugar and immediately deep-frozen.

CAIPI ONE is available at Caribbean Club Bonaire in 6 different cocktails.

1. Caipirinha; Lime with cachaca and sugarcane
2. Yellow Passion; Passion fruit with cachaca and sugarcane
3. Deep Red; 4 different berries with vodka

The Caribbean Club Dive Shop's Grand Opening

As many of you know, we are and have been busy with renovating the resort bit by bit without discomforting our guests along the way. The first renovated rooms have been in use for many weeks and the feedback is very positive. And now we have more good news, we have renovated the complete dive shop.

As many of you know, our shop was OK but could use some paint. Well together with the dive staff we decided to go all the way. We did not only repainted the shop but we also put in an air conditioning, a new door, windows and a huge amount of merchandise needed to ensure the needs of our divers.

For the “Grand Opening” we invited all our guests as well as our colleague instructors. Everybody that knew the “old” shop is now very pleased with the new looks.

So when you are on the island, please stop by and see for yourself how nice the shop has become.

Updated Flight Schedule Tiara Air

As from July 12th 2010 a new schedule will be effective regarding Tiara Air’s flight from Aruba to Bonaire and from Bonaire to Aruba.

ARUBA – BONAIRE
9:10am – 10:00am - mo-we-fr
6:20pm – 7:10pm - mo-we-fr
7:10pm – 8:05pm - su

BONAIRE – ARUBA
10:20am – 11:50am - mo-we-fr
7:30pm – 8:20pm - mo-we-fr
8:25pm – 9:20pm - su

We are very happy to see that this new schedule shows an increase of 3 flights per week; new evening flights are scheduled and the morning flights are scheduled earlier. The new schedule also has the advantage that it allows day trips and better connections to and from the US via Aruba on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and from the US on Sunday. Additionally it allows connections to and from Venezuela on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Working and Diving or Diving and Working?


Bon Dia!

My name is Huib Zandstra and I am the new bartender/waiter at Caribbean Club Bonaire. I came to the island on the 2nd of January. In The Netherlands I did my study in hospitality management and graduated in 2009. After that I decided to go to Bonaire to work on this beautiful island. Till so far I have enjoyed every day of it, especially to work at Caribbean Club. This resort is beautiful but still has a lot of potential to grow in size and quality.

Besides working there is of course DIVING!!!!. I got open water certified by my colleagues of the dive shop and am planning on getting my advanced in a couple of weeks.  

We are busy with changing the concept of the restaurant and we already have a new lunch-, fresh juice- and cocktail-menu. The diner and breakfast menu is going to be changed as well. We hope to welcome you in the near future to our beautiful resort and restaurant.

Diving and working in paradise, I love it!!!

New Dive Equipment Storage!

As you might know, Caribbean Club Bonaire is and has been working on the “looks” of the resort. We have improved the garden, the pools, the rooms, the path ways and now we have a new feature.

We have a new dive equipment storage. The lockers are located between the penthouse / studio building and the new to be opened penthouse / studio building. In the past, the guest staying in this building had to go to the main entrance of the hotel to rinse and store their equipment.

But now this is history. These rooms have their own locker with rinse tank. To make it even more convenient, the lockers are opened with the same key as the room key.

As you can see on the map the location is ideal. In between the buildings and next to the parking lot. The lights have a motion censor so that when you come back from a night dive, or when you want to go diving at 3 am, you can still rinse and store your equipment.
