A few months ago we introduced the new dive team, Bart and Niels. Both are dedicated divers and are doing a very good job. They are doing a lot of Open Water certifications, numerous advance classes and nitrox certifications. Besides being under water most of their work week, they do an excellent job in advising and helping our guest. They always know a dive site that will suit the wishes of the diver. Turtle, seahorse, …… you name it and they know where you should go.
Besides the wonders of the west coast, Niels takes our experienced guests to the east coast. He always makes a bet with the guests that if they do not see at least 30 turtles within the first 40 minutes of the dive, he will pay for the beers afterwards. He has never lost the bet!
Besides diving Niels is also responsible for cleaning the rinse tank. You would say that this is not a problem for a grown man. Well, the cleaning is not the problem, filling the tank with fresh water is.
Niels makes sure that at least every week the tank is over flooded. This results in a water park on the pathways to the rooms. Even by punishing Niels by making him buy beers for the whole Caribbean Club team, did not help. So we came up with a solution: we installed a supersonic automatic easy to use water stop with time clock. Lets hope this does the job.
